PENGARUH ARUS KOMUNIKASI ATASAN KEPADA BAWAHAN (DOWNWARD COMMUNICATION) TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA KARYAWAN DI PT. ALMA MEDIA CAKRAWALA

Abstract

Downward Communication's communication goes into the group section of organizational communication. organizational communication is an important factor and have influence in employee work motivation in PT. Alma Media Cakrawala C-Aventure. To find out how much influence the communication flow of superiors to subordinates to employee motivation at PT. Alma Media Cakrawala C-Aventure. This research uses quantitative approach of type eksplanatif with survey method based on questionnaire. The population taken in this study were 30 men who dominated men with the age of 26-35 years with S1 and high school education. using a non-probability sample with a saturated sample type in which the entire population is sampled. To study more deeply, Researchers use conventional motivational theory from F.W Taylor. To find the relation of 2 variables of researcher using pearson's product moment correlation processed through software SPSS version 20. The result of this research the researcher conclude there is positive but medium relationship between downward communication with work motivation of employee of PT. Alma Media Cakrawala C-Aventure majority agree it can be seen from the value of correlation coefficient of 0,544 in determination test of 29.6% and 70.4% influenced by other factors. The amount of significant value of 0.002 is below the level of significancy 0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The theoretical suggestion is that the researcher is expected to investigate quantitatively to see the comparison, so that the result can be complemented. Practical suggestions are the results of this study provide input to the leadership to get closer, give attention to employees.
