Abstract

This research aims is to determine whether there is any influence between youtube by rachel goddard make up tutorial to the cosmetics knowledge for the students of secretary academy budi luhur year 2015-2016 and to know about strong relation level between youtube by rachel goddard make up tutorial for the students of secretary academy budi luhur year 2015-2016. This research is using quantitative explanative approach associative with survey method. The amount of population is 93 correspondents and for the sample, writer used slovin formula and then became 92 correspondents. Data collection that writer use in this research was by spreading the quitionnaries to 92 correspondents. The statistical test that writer use is Product Moment correlation, simple linear regression, and using hypothesis test which is anova processed by using SPSS 19. The conclusion from the statistical test shows that there is a significant influence between rachel goddard’s make up tutorial to the level of cosmetics knowledge on active students of Budi Luhur Secretary Academy year 2015 and 2016, it can be seen from the value test of correlation coefficient of 0.000, by using a significant level of 1% to 0.01. Which means that the correlation between the two variables has an influence, can be seen from the number of numbers Sig. (2-talled) 0.000 and alpha of 0.01 so that 0.01> 0,000 can be said that is significant. In regression test on Pearson Correlation's value of 0.733 indicates a strong correlation relationship. So, what happened on the original hypothesis are: Ho2 is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha2) is accepted. The effect of using rachel goddard’s make up tutorial on youtube to the level of cosmetics knowledge on the active students of Budi Luhur Secretary Academy year 2015 is 58% and the other 42% are the unsubstantiated variable in this research.
