PEMAKNAAN REMAJA TENTANG SIKAP TANGGUNG JAWAB DALAM TAYANGAN FILM MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan

Abstract

This study presents a description of the meaning of teenagers about how they interpret Dilan's attitude of
responsibility in the film MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan. This study aims to find out how the meanings produced by
teenagers towards Dilan's attitude of responsibility in the MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan film show. This research
method is qualitative using Stuart Hall reception analysis. The subjects of this research are teenagers. The object
of this research is Dilan's attitude of responsibility in the film MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan. Data collection was
obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with four teenagers as informants. Data were also
obtained through literature study and several books as references in this study. The results of the study show
how the meaning of the informants towards Dilan's attitude of responsibility in the film MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan
and shows that each informant has different meanings in interpreting Dilan's attitude of responsibility in the film
MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan. The meanings produced are dominant, negotiation, and opposition meanings. The
conclusion of this study is that more negotiating meanings emerge from the four informants and based on these
conclusions it can be said that the film MILEA: Suara Dari Dilan is quite representative in showing Dilan's
responsible attitude and the four informants give a positive meaning to Dilan's responsible attitude.
