Abstract




The aims of this study is to know how the strategy will be implemented by the Producer to improve the ranking and sharing of the CNN Indonesia Afternoon Editorial programs on Trans7. This study uses qualitative descriptive research methods. This study uses the post-Positivism paradigm, the concept in this study uses the theory of Peter K. Pringle’s strategy management in producing programs, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Data collection techniques used were observation, researchers chose participatory observation. Interview, the researchers chose interviews with Key Informants, Informants I, and Informants II the included with the documentation. The results showed that there was a match between theory and practice that occurred in the field through strategic management, planning, organizing, directing, and supervising applied by the Indonesian CNN Editorial Producer Strategy towards the CNN Indonesia Afternoon Editorial program ini Trans7.
