KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI ORANG TUA DENGAN ANAK PADA PEMBELAJARAN DARING SELAMA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI SDN LARANGAN KOTA TANGERANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the interpersonal communication between parents and children at SDN Larangan Tangerang City in the courageous learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic and the supporting and inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication. The Theory using interpersonal communication according to De Vito with understanding, empathy, support, positive attitude, and information. The paradigm is post- positivist to see the state of learning is bold. The approach is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Informants were determined through purposive sampling technique, namely 4 parents of SDN Larangan Tangerang City students, as informants. Data collection techniques used for interviews and literature study. The results showed that the factors supporting interpersonal communication between parents and children were the attitude of parents who supported their children to learn to be brave during the pandemic and teaching children to always be open during the learning period, and parents always tried to understand everything that was told to their children and support children during the learning period. Factors supporting interpersonal communication between parents and children or students are the attitude of parents who support their children to learn to be brave during the pandemic and how to teach children to always be open during the learning period, and parents always try to understand everything that is told to the child, as well as to support and make sure children are safe during the learning period. Barriers experienced by parents of students are communication in the learning process with limited time to communicate due to the work of parents and the lack of understanding of parents about the material provided by the teachers, as well as the lack of parental knowledge about learning and using the internet.
