PERANCANGAN BUKU ILUSTRASI URBAN LEGEND GARUDHEYA UNTUK ANAK REMAJA USIA 14-19 TAHUN

Abstract

This research work aims to convey a message through visuals or illustrated images with the aim of providing education / moral messages to the community, especially teenagers aged 14-19 years by providing information that we as children must love and care for our parents. At the same time, the creator wants to bring back the forgotten cultures. The formulation of the idea of creating this work is that the creator wants to make an interesting illustration book and the media used in this illustration book is print media. The method of creating this work is done by literature study through books, the internet, and field studies by conducting interviews with the Ministry of Education and Culture and lecturers at UNIVERSITAS INDONESIA. The conclusion of this work is that illustration plays an important role, aiming to inform and provide new tools for readers who do not know the folklore or legend of Candi Kidal in story books, and become very supportive elements as well as the use of color and typography that must be considered. according to its use so that teenagers can enjoy and easily understand what is being conveyed.
