FRAME BERITA PEMBERLAKUAN PSBB JILID II DI DKI JAKARTA PADA DETIK.COM DAN OKEZONE.COM (ANALISIS FRAMING ROBERT N. ENTMAN EDISI 13 SEPTEMBER 2020)

Abstract

Reports about the implementation of PSBB Volume II are certainly widely reported by the mass media, both print media, electronic media and online media. In connection with the news, each media must have a different way of framing a news. The framing is formed by a media depending on the interests of the media itself, so that the news that is displayed cannot be separated from its alignments. News is not only made based on facts, but there is still interference in the thoughts and attitudes of the media editors themselves. In this study, we will discuss the News about the Implementation of PSBB Volume II in DKI Jakarta which was announced by Anies Baswedan. This research was conducted to find out the attitude of Detik.com and Okezone.com regarding the news regarding the implementation of PSBB Volume II in Jakarta, September 13, 2020. This study uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach. The research method used in this study is Robert M. Entman's framing analysis which has two major dimensions, namely selection of issues and highlighting aspects and four elements, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment recommendations. The results of the study show that Okezone.com places the news of the implementation of PSBB Volume II into economic problems seen from the selection of sources and statements made, as well as the highlighting of aspects that are shown to be different from detik.com which assesses the news of the implementation of PSBB Volume II into political issues. However, the two media both often present criticism and suggestions for Anies Baswedan's policies regarding PSBB Volume II in DKI Jakarta, judging by the published news which often gives rise to contradictory news.
