Abstract

Since March 2, 2020, Covid-19 cases have continued to monitor until the first PSBB (Large Scale Social Restrictions) was discovered, this caused some public facilities to be closed including workplace and school holidays. However, the Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim announced that face- to-face learning activities were allowed to be held again in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This is in various online media, one of which is Detik.com. The purpose of this study was to find out how Detik.com framed the news of Nadiem Makariem's policy regarding face-to-face Learning. This research is qualitative research that uses the constructivism paradigm. The framing analysis method Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki has four important structures, namely syntactic structure, script structure, thematic structure, and rhetorical structure. From the results, the researchers found that Detik. com tried not to side with one source because when viewed from every view, the researchers always included related news that had previously been discussed before. The whole Detik.com news is criticism and suggestions from the sources themselves and involves people who work in the government and from one political party. Detik also often writes statements from quotes according to the conversation.
