Abstract






The purpose of the study was to determine the strategy of Public Relations Media Relations (Humas) of the Attorney General' Office in fostering good relations with the press. The formulation of there search problem is how the Public Relations (Humas) Media Relations Strategy of the Attorney General's Office in fostering good relations with the press. The theory used in this research is the Harmonious Mutualism Relationship Model from James E. Grunig. The paradigm used is post-positivism. The data collection methods used were in-depth interviews, and non-participant observations, as well as literature studies obtained from sources such as books, websites, documents and others. The subject of this study consisted of key informants, namely the Public Relations of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, and informants namely the Press. While the object of this research is to build good relations with the press. The results of this Public Relations of the Attorney General's Office established a communication forum called Forwaka (Communication Forum for Journalists of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia) as a media relations strategy in maintaining relations with the press. By forming an internal media or internal forum consisting of several journalists in it. Public Relations of the Attorney General's Office carries out activities that are in contact with the press, including formal activities which include Media Gatherings, Workshops, Coffee Mornings, Press Conferences, and the Attorney Greets. And informal activities include futsal tournaments, walking and cycling.
