ANALISIS FRAMING BERITA PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA PROGRAM BERITA LINTAS iNEWS TV

Abstract

The study aims to find out how the news framing on pandemic covid-19 uses framing analysis of Robert N. Entman on its March 20, 2020 news program on Lintas iNews program. As a background to this study is the diseases of the coronavirus (corona virus diseases), it results in the pandemic of the coronavirus in 2019-2020. Researchers want to know what kind of news crews Lintas iNews is doing in breaking news of this event. The method used in this research is using the framing method of Robert N Entman analysis. The subject of this study is the Lintas iNews program that does the framing of covid-19 in March 20, 2020. Data collection is obtained through in-depth observation of the release text of pandemic covid-19 of March 20, 2020, news program Lintas iNews. Research shows that Lintas iNews takes the news about pandemic covid-19 of March 20, 2020, to the social level. Lintas iNews also identified that covid-19 profoundly impacted large communities.
