Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Production Team Trax Night Out Program Strategy at Trax Fm Radio Jakarta in maintaining the existence of the program. The formulation of the problem raised is how is the Production Team Strategy of the Trax Night Out program on Trax Fm Radio Jakarta in Maintaining the Existence of the Program? This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subject of his research was the Trax Night Out Program Production Team at Trax Fm Radio Jakarta.Collection was obtained through interviews and observations. Data obtained through library research and documentation from various media, both from radio companies and from online media. The theory used is Programming Strategy (Sydney W. Head), namely Control of Audience Flow, Conservation of Program Resources, Habit Formation, Bredth of Appeal, and Comptibillity. The results showed that the strategy and cooperation of the entire production team was very important in the production process of the Trax Night Out program on Trax Fm Radio. Where the production team of the Trax Night Out program is led by a Producer of the production team members namely the Program Director, Music Director, Script Writter, and Announcer. The strategy adopted by the production team is very influential on the quality of the broadcast program that will be broadcast to its listeners. The following strategies will be carried out by the production team in accordance with the concept of the Sydney W. Head strategy, namely there are five stages: Control Of Audience Flow, Conservation Of Programs, Resources Habit Formation, Bredth Of Appeal, and Comptibillity.
