Abstract




“Harmoni Salatiga” is short documentary film that uses the 5-C visualization Technique (Close up, Composition, Camera Angle, Contiunity, Cutting), this type of film is a documentary of portrait. The documentary of film is motivated based on background that occurred in Indonesian and the Tolerant City Index (IKT) research by Setara Institute. This film tells about life in a small town that has various religions and ethnicities from Sabang-Merauke. This city is a Salatiga city that is very harmonious or pluralistic but can live in a stage of peace and tolerance without being influenced by the background of the current issue of SARA in Indonesian. In addition, this film tells about how a brief history and an important role to maintain and preserve the integrity of the city and country that represented by society and figures who have the power,rights and authority in the city of Salatiga. The purpose of the documentary “Harmoni Salatiga” is to give a positive massage and vibes to the audience and the people of Indonesian based on portrait of Salatiga city, furthermore, this film is an educational tool and learning media for researchers,goverments and the public who want to know more about how to maintain and have tolerance in pluralistic life. The creator who acts as director arranges the visualization and picture using the 5-C technique and enjoy this documentary visual.
