KECAKAPAN POLISI SEBAGAI NEWS ANCHOR PADA PROGRAM TRAFFIC UPDATE DI NTMC TV

Abstract

Becoming news anchor needs both extensive knowledge and clear acculturation in speaking. The skill of a News Anchor could make the program getting improvement. Hypotesis of this research is how the skills of traffic update program's news anchor in NTMC TV? This research is using qualitative as a method and with descriptive approach. Bripda Audy and Bripda Denada Whom known as a news anchor is the subject of this research. This data is collected by doing observation and intensive interview towards Bripda Audy and Bripda Denada along with supporting data from the interview with NTMC TV Program Director and Senior News Anchor in NTMC TV. Result of this research conveys theory from Ben. G Henneke is the skills that announcer or News Anchor needs to have are Communication Ideas, Communication Personality, Pronounciation, and Voice Control, also show that a news anchor needs to be Knowledgeable and update about all news across the world. Becoming news anchor also needs to be attractive, so the viewer attracts to watch the program. If a news anchor has high value of attractiveness, it could increase the rating of the program.
