KECAKAPAN NEWS ANCHOR IMAM PRIYONO PADA PROGRAM BERITA INDONESIA HARI INI DI TELEVISI REPUBLIK INDONESIA (TVRI)

Abstract

This research aims to indentity and assess Imam Priyono’s Proficiency as a News Anchor on Program Berita Indonesia Hari Ini In Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI). In undergo the profession as a News Anchor requires proficiency.Research problem is how Imam Priyono’s Proficiency as a News Anchor on Program Berita Indonesia Hari Ini in Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI)?. This research is using qualitative as a method and with descriptive approach. Imam Priyono whom known as a news anchor is the subject of this research. This data is collected by doing observation and intensive interview towards Imam Priyono along with supporting data from the interview with deputy chief editor, producer and news anchor in Program Berita Indonesia Hari Ini. Result of this research used the concept 4 (four) requirements to become a news anchor to support their skills by Gagas Ulung, which states that a news anchor in carrying out this profession must have special requirements to support his proficiency such as applying journalism to pictures, self quality, good looking, and spontaneity. The results of this study stated that Imam Priyono qualifies for four conditions to become the news anchor. These skills are in Imam Priyono's news anchor, and they are applied on Program Berita Indonesia Hari Ini.
