Abstract
North Halimun area is a stretch of abundant natural resources. One of the natural resources contained in the North Halimun area is the gold content in Mount Pongkor. The entry of mining activities conducted by PT. Aneka Tambang in North Halimun, making the society began to turn the profession into illegal gold miners. Prior to mining, the majority of North Halimun people are farmers. With the shifting of society livelihoods to the mines, it affects the natural damage in North Halimun. The natural damage is caused by illegal mining activities. So emerged efforts to restore the crisis made by Biharul Ulum Boarding School. With the documentary film "Scrape the North Halimun Crisis" is expected to provide an understanding for the audience to be more concerned about the environment. Creator as producer resembles this documentary by using narrative approach. By using narrative approach, then the narrator in this documentary is statement from resource person. And in the end, this documentary work is expected to be an inspiration for society who have the same problems in other areas about the return of mining crisis.
