PERANCANGAN ILUSTRASI PADA BUKU ‘’MENJAGA KESEHATAN PARU-PARU’’ UNTUK ANAK USIA 8-10 TAHUN

Abstract

This research work aims to develop information about healthy lifestyles to maintain the health of organs in our body namely the lungs in the form of illustrated books for the education of children aged 8-10 years and provide new alternatives in the delivery of information in teaching that is more attractive to children aged 8-10 years about how to maintain lung health and its cause impatct. The formulation of problem of creating this work is that the creator wants to make an interesting illustrated book, the media used in the work of this illustration book is print media. The method of creation of this work is carried out by literature study through books, the internet, and field studies, namely conducting interview with principals and teacher of SDN Karang Tengah 9 and asking questions about the lungs with expert namely lung specialist doctors. The conclusion of this work is illustrations that play an important role in children’s story book and become a very supportive element as well as the use of colors and typography that must be appropriate for their use so that children easily understand what the contents conveyed.
