Abstract
This research is aimed to know the strategy on how Bahana FM producer do in increasing listener to the “Tika Udjo on Bahana FM” program. Qualitative approach is used in doing this research. Subject in this research is the producer on Tika Udjo on Bahana FM program which is Chester Aditya whom the key informant. The data for this research is collected by doing literature study and documentation by researcher. The result of this research assumed that producer on Tika Udjo on Bahana FM program succeed in doing three steps of strategy management from Management Concept Fred R. David which is strategy formulation, implementation and evaluation. Peculiarity on Tika Udjo on Bahana FM program is the character of Tika as an annoncer and Udjo whom are funny also amusing, producer always make creative and innovative content in its broadcasting also segments such as The Bongils, Nyambal ( Nyambar Asal ), You Know What, Mba Hana dan Mas Hana Jalan-Jalan becoming peculiarity program that other radios don’t have. Conclusion of this research is the producer has strategy in increading listener which is to serve content that is variative and quiz every time its broadcasted, so listener would listen to Tika Udjo On Bahana FM program. Theoritical advice is to insert a development of disciplines specifically an understanding about producer’s strategy in broadcasting radio program to running as desire and to reach the goal. Then, the practical advice is producer and crew should always developing creative ideas to make the program continuously listened by all the listener.
