Abstract
Kampung Naga is one of the traditional villages in Indonesia and still preserves the traditions and traditions of his ancestral heritage. Kampung Naga stores local wisdom and traditional arts that are very well preserved. There is one tradition that is still held in Kampung Naga, the Marak Tradition. To protect the ecosystem and the preservation of Ciwulan river water, the people of Kampung Naga are prohibited from taking fish carelessly, only at certain times the community is allowed to fish in the Ciwulan river, the activity is called the Marak tradition by the Kampung Naga community. The Marak tradition is the activity of finding and catching fish in the Ciwulan river by damming the flow of the two Ciwulan rivers. The implementation of the lively tradition is usually carried out in August as a form of joy of the Kampung Naga community in welcoming Indonesia's independence day. The method of creating this work is by conducting research and interviews with relevant sources. Packed into a 25 minute portrait documentary film and divided into 3 segments with different discussions in each segment, which will present the history and culture by focusing on statements from several reliable sources about the Marak Tradition in Kampung Naga, Neglasari Village, Tasikmalaya District.
