Abstract

The creation of a biographical documentary Movie “father of Indonesian Comics” was made for providing information to public, about how the story of R.A Kosasih began to create his comics and create first Super Hero characters in Indonesia. The idea was made because everyone knows of many comics that have been made by Indonesians comic artist, but creator wants to provide the information to the audience, who was the first comic creator in Indonesia and also became a pioneer of comics in Indonesia. The creation method in this work is conducted by researches, surveys, observations and interviews with related parties. In the making of biographical documentary, it will explain every detail in a segment, so the audience will get some new information. The conclusion of this biographical documentary that will tell the audience about journey of Indonesian comic pioneer, R.A Kosasih.
