Abstract




This research was purposed to analyse Internal Communication Towards BIENTI Mediaworks Company. The formula of this research problem was How is the Internal Communication Occurs in BIENTI Mediaworks? The researcher used Theory of Organizational Control by Philip Tompkins and Georgy Cheney. This paradigm research constituted post-positivism paradigm using qualitative descriptive method. Researcher investigated internal communication occurring towards BIENTI Mediaworks, the key informant and the informant were used as the subjects of this research. Non-participant observation, and semi-structured interview. The result of this research was Internal Communication towards BIENTI Mediaworks used open and active communication, furthermore BIENTI Mediaworks already applied The Theory of Organizational Control by doing weekly meeting and the managers already showed the acceptance of some inputs and critics from their subordinates. Technical Control also applied in BIENTI Mediaworks by using active communication such as technology savvy and media used internet, email, and whats app. Bureaucracy Control was used in the process of employee recruitment and when holding events. Conservative Control appeared when all employee had effective interpersonal relations, contribution in teamwork when PR team was holding an event. The summary in this research was the presence of internal communication in BIENTI Mediaworks Company had greatly important role because it would be a facility for exchange of ideas. Unfortunately, one matter that need to be improved such as the bureaucracy of SOP imlplementation in attendance for coming on time.
