Abstract
Tony Q Rastafara is an Indonesian reggae musician from the city of Semarang, who began his regga music career in 1989 with the band Roots Rock Reggae. The basic tone of Tony Q Rastafara is always characterized by social sense, injustice, groaning of the bottom (marginal), and trying to provide symbols of peace. Tony Q Rastafara is the result of contemplation of the lower human, who began his career on the streets of Blok M, South Jakarta as a street musician. He has successfully given birth to Indonesian-style reggae music. In the world of art that has been going on for 30 years until now, Tony Q Rastafara is able to maintain his consistency in music especially the typical Indonesian reggae music that he has given birth to. The method used in this documentary is through the stages of determining themes, research, determining the story, making a production schedule and determining the work tools at the preproduction stage, taking pictures at the production stage, and editing the production at the post-production stage. The film is a 3-story story structure with a narrative approach. The application of this technique was chosen to make it easy for the audience to accept what information was conveyed by the informants, supported by narration and visuals.
