Abstract




Internal communication has a very important role on employee performance motivation. In providing performance encouragement to employees, internal company must have an effective strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the internal communication strategy of PT. Montir Indonesia Jaya in motivating employee performance. The formulation of this research problem is how the internal communication strategy of PT. Montir Indonesia Jaya in motivating employee performance? The research methodology is a case study with a research paradigm using post-positivism. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The theory used in this research is Organizational Control Theory by Phillip Tompkins and George Cheney. Data collection techniques are done through semistructured interviews and observation of passive participation, as well as documentation and study of literature. The results of this study are PT. Montir Indonesia Jaya carries out internal communication strategies in several ways. First, a simple way to control the leader system. Second, the technical way is by providing office facilities such as cellphones and laptops to control their work anytime and anywhere. Third, how to bureaucracy by giving work guidance to employees so that they know each of their job-desks better. Fourth, the way to be consistent with social relations through cooperation, work meetings, daily briefings and giving material values as motivation for them. Companies can make organizational control theory an internal communication strategy in motivating employee performance. Practical advice in this study is that companies care more about employees, especially workers in the field.
