Abstract
The creation of documentary film works aims to provide knowledge and understanding to the public about traffic violations, such as not using helmets for motorized drivers, breaking traffic lights, ignoring road signs or signs, to contra-flow, which can endanger the safety of violators itself, also other road users. The actual regulation in traffic is an effort to bring security, comfort and smoothness to all road users. Another thing that inspires the creator to raise this issue in the form of documentary film work is that because of the personal experience of the creator when he saw the presence of traffic violators on the road as parents who were driving with their children, in other words the violators did not heed the safety of passengers small. Departing from that experience then another anxiety arises in the creator, namely, "when a parent gives a bad example, in the context of driving on a highway, will it be easily transmitted to children?". Through this documentary film work, the creators hope that the audience can better know that traffic violations on the road can be detrimental in terms of safety, comfort and smoothness. The creators hope that through this documentary film work, they can provide knowledge about alternative solutions, to change the usual habit in community to start to use public transportation modes in order to reduce traffic jam. The creator uses an interview approach and produces audio-visual outputs that are packaged in the form of documentary films with storytelling patterns designed in such a way as to look light, entertaining, while providing new knowledge or information to the audience.
