Pesan Moral Pada Film Lovely Man

Abstract

Film is a collection of events that occur in a unique human life and poured into the screen. Signs produced by humans are made into a visual that can be seen from various perspectives and give a message for each individual. Film studies can be said to be a relatively new field of study and not comparable to the process of technological evolution. Semiotics is a study of science or abalysis method to examine signs in a context of scenarios, images, texts, and scenes in the film to be something that can be interpreted. This study aims to analyze transgennder in Lovely Man films and moral messages contained in the film. This research uses qualitative research methods using the semiotic theory of Roland Barthes, with the constructivism paradigm. unit analysis of this study is the Lovely Man film by observing images (visual image) and sound / dialogue (audio) in which there are elements of signs that describe moral messages. The results obtained from the research used in the Lovely Man film which the researchers took were several scenes that contained moral messages. The moral messages contained in this film include negative and positive messages such as responsibility, compassion, forgiveness, selfishness, honesty, don't run away from problems, regret, despair, motivation.
