Abstract

In the era of information disclosure, at this time the community is easy to get the information
needed from Public Agencies. In this case the PPID Center of the Ministry of Industry continues to
improve the quality of its public services to provide comfort and trust in the community. This study
aims to determine how the implementation of communication in the era of information disclosure
in the PPID of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in improving public services. In
this study using the Communication Planning Model by Philip Lesly. This study uses a qualitative
approach, using qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques in this study
used were in-depth interviews, non-participation observations and documentation with several
speakers and through literature studies and other data sources. The results of this study indicate
that the public services provided by the PPID Center of the Ministry of Industry are good, in
maintaining and improving good service and providing information disclosure in the era of openness
at this time the PPID Center of the Ministry of Industry conducts training and sharing every year and
work meetings every week, and continue to update the list of public information because of the
continued increase in requests for information from the public and so far has been judged to be good
based on community satisfaction responses.
