Abstract
This research aims to find out how the media relations strategy of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia in publishing MUDIK BARENG KAI program. The problem of the proposed research is how the media relations strategy of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia in publicizing the MUDIK BARENG KAI. The research used qualitative method to analyze data. Subject of the research is the Public Relation divisions of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia and object of this research is public relation strategies of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia. Data collection is obtained through interviews and observations conducted on the public relations and informant divisions. The results showed that PT. Kereta Api Indonesia used the strategy to manage relations, develope strategies, develope the network of Yosal Iriantara. Managing relationships to establish good relations with the media agencies, online media, electronic media and printed media is indispensable in the activities of public relations PT. Kereta Api Indonesia, then develop a strategy to achieve the objectives to be achieved PT. Kereta Api Indonesia in publishing MUDIK BARENG KAI program. And then, developing the network as well as a mandatory aspect in Media Relations, by opening and facilitating networking with the media is essentially an effort in establishing good relations with the media widely.
