Pembingkaian Berita Kebohongan Ratna Sarumpaet (Analisis Framing Robert N. Entman pada Media Online Suara.com dan Okezone.com Edisi 3 Oktober 2018)

Abstract

Social media has recently been shocked by the news that there were beatings of female activists Ratna Sarumpaet by unknown people while attending the International Conference in Bandung, West Java. The news was increasingly sticking out after the many photos that featured the faces of Ratna Sarumpaet's bruises on social media. With the circulation of these photos, the news has become increasingly widespread in various online news portals including on the online media Suara.com and Okezone.com. As for this research, it aims to find out how a media frame a news / event contained in its news including Suara.com and Okezone.com?. The method of this research is qualitative, this theory uses the theory of framing from Robert N. Entman with a constructivist paradigm. The results of the study using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis can be concluded that the definition of the problem is Suara.com and Okezone.com assessing this news into the realm of law. Estimating problems is Suara.com and Okezone.com looking at the cause of the problem or (actor) in this news, Ratna Sarumpaet. Making a moral decision is Suara.com looking at this news as social activist Ratna Sarumpaet should not need to make false news that stirred the public and made her have to deal with the police while Okezone.com looked at this news the police would still investigate the false news and would track who the first person appeared on social media. Emphasizing the settlement, Suara.com looked at this news the police managed to reveal the mystery of the photo of Ratna Sarumpaet, which turned out to be at Bina Estetika Hospital, Menteng, Jakarta while Okezone.com looked at this news the police made an investigation at Bina Estetika Hospital by looking at the evidence from the camera CCTV supervisor at the Hospital's registration payment.
