Abstract

This picture story book tells the Heroes story of the Indonesian Republic which illustrates at rupiah print edition 2016. The lack of knowledge about the national hero made some controversy arising from the insult of the hero's image, the abolition of the hero image in the currency for jokes. the illustrations used are old-fashioned nuances to bring the reader into the atmosphere when the incident occurred and also feels like a hero that is felt while in a struggle. From the lack of public knowledge about the National Heroes story, this book is expected to provide information about the National Heroes to the children. Not only that, this book can also provide knowledge about the history of Indonesian independence. Children today are getting carried away and influenced by foreign culture that is less suitable for the Indonesian nation. this book is expected to help introduce the history to the children to have a sense of high nationalism and have a broad knowledge of the heroism of Indonesia and re-strengthen the culture of Indonesia deeper and not drifting from the development of the era that can fade the national culture.
