PERANCANGAN BUKU ILUSTRASI “MENGENAL GAJAH SUMATERA” SEBAGAI MEDIA BELAJAR UNTUK ANAK USIA 4-6 TAHUN

Abstract

Today the Sumatran Elephant population has declined, this is due to poaching for tusks and traded. Though elephants are endangered animals and must be protected so that Sumatran Elephants and other elephants can survive in their natural habitat. In addition, this book illustrates the purpose of attracting and giving knowledge to the children of Kndergarten Al-Mafathih school about the introduction of Sumatran Elephant animals as medium of learning, as well as to provide knowledge from an early age,it is expected when the big one can get used to maintain the environment and not damage the environmentn. Media used in this work is print media. The method of creating this work is done by collecting visual data, literature, and in-depth interviews with the kindergarten teacher of Al-Mafathih. The conclusion of this work is an illustration that plays an important role in the illustration book so that it becomes a very supportive element, as well as the appropriate use of relevant colors and typography.
