Abstract
The lack of illustration book related to science, especially for the five senses material for elementary school, or as supplement for predecessor science book, then the designing of this book can be a solution. In creating this illustration book, the creator emphasizes on making more interesting illustration book, also the colours and layout choices are selected carefully to be friendlier for elementary students on the fourth level. The simplification of the material using words or sentences choices that are easier to understand for students, and the addi tion of the experi ment’s segment, students are invited to do activities related to the materials they have learned. Those activities are aimed to make the illustration book more interactive, while also giving direct example of the materials. The method of creating this book is done by collecting visual data, literature data, and interview with the teacher of SDI AT-TAQWA. It can be concluded from this book is that creating education material for the five senses which hopefully can be learned and understood by the students.
