Abstract

This work aims at the creation of information and knowledge as an introduction to the profession, particularly the profession chef and as a medium of learning for children. Introduction to the profession for children is very important. The reason, because that way the children get to know the various professions that exist and he could appreciate all of that profession. In the book illustration, there is a simple illustration is equipped with a short text or language but easy to understand. Lack of interest kids in reading make the creator chose to design a book illustration. The creators chose the profession of chef as this illustration book material because this profession jarangan in the know by children. Children in general are usually only know the profession of police, doctors, teachers, and so on. The media used in this paper that is printed. The method of creation of the work is done with the data collection of visual, literary, and in-depth interviews with Kindergarten Waladun Sholihun.
