KEKUATAN VISUALISASI DALAM DOKUMENTER SEJARAH “SINDANG BARANG” SISA PENINGGALAN PAKUAN PADJAJARAN

Abstract

Documentary programs are now emerging in various television stations with various themes. The type of documentary that the designer made was a historical documentary. In this work we can get to know more about Sundanese culture in Bogor Regency. The village of "Sindang Barang" tells about the life of Sunda ethnic through arts, culture, and custom which already existed since the XII century and Sindang Barang village there are relics of archaeological sites that have history in the kingdom of Padjadjaran era, there are many Sundanese art in Sindang Barang which are still preserved, such as martial arts cimande, jaipong, and angklung gubrak. And there is a traditional ceremony of the harvest of the Sundanese society that is still preserved Sereuntaun in Sindang Barang. The purpose of the creator with the creation of this documentary history so that the audience can get to know the history of ethnic Sundanese that existed from ancient times contained in Sindang Barang. In this documentary program, the designer plays the role of Directed. Creator performs three stages of pre production, production, and post production. And the designer as a director seeks to display an interesting visual, so that this work can be enjoyed by audiences.
