PERANCANGAN ANIMASI EDUKATIF “MARI MENGENAL CUACA” SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ALTERNATIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS 3 SDN KARANG ANYAR 07 PAGI JAKARTA PUSAT

Abstract

The objectives of the project are to provide a solution in teaching and learning process for grade 3 elementary school students, especially on the subjects of  Natural Science with the material using weather as additional illustration. In current learning process, teachers simply giving the theory with illustrations that are less obvious which create difficulties for students to understand well. So visual explanation is needed so can be understood by students. The formulation idea of this work is creating alternative learning media in the form of educational 2D animation about weather which aims to introduce visually about weather conditions that is not necessarily known when the weather is fickle, also at the same time helping teachers to give an explanation easily in the process of teaching and learning. The method using for this project are taken with observation, literature, and indepth interview with teacher from Karang Anyar 07 elementary school, Central Jakarta. In conclusion, 2D animation video as alternative learning media is able to deliver information about the weather with the segmentation of the grade 3 with age range from 8-11 years and to assist teachers in teaching and learning.
