PEMBINGKAIAN BERITA KESAKSIAN RIZIEQ SHIHAB PADA SIDANG PENODAAN AGAMA DI MEDIA ONLINE

Abstract

The legal process of defamation of defendant Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok enters the 12th session on 28 February 2017. The purpose of this research is how to frame the news of testimony Rizieq Shihab in the trial of religious defamation in the media online Kompas.com Edition 28 February 2017 ?. This research uses a qualitative approach, while the research method used in this study framing analysis method Robert N. Entman which has four framing elements. The results of this study indicate that news framed and packed by Kompas.com tend to show what actually happened but the words used in the text of the news shown that Rizieq's attitude as a witness of religious experts in his testimony in court angled Basuki Tjahaja Purnama for his words that Ahok has denounce religion and should immediately be arrested for violating the Criminal Code Article 156 a and Article 156 of the Criminal Code.
