Abstract

Turtle is one type of marine life reptile that has the ability to migrate long distances along the Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Southeast Asia. Internationally, the existence of turtle has long experienced the threat, including in Indonesia. The threat of extinction of turtles can be caused by various factors, both by natural factors and factors of human activities that have a negative impact. Documentary is a work of film or video based on the reality and facts of the event. The documentary on the content of the movie is not a story. There are only two types of non story films, namely: documentary film and actual film. From this explanation can be concluded documentary which includes the type of nonfiction film that tells the reality. This documentary investigasion  for information and knowledge to the reader to be more concerned about turtles that exist in some parts of the world, especially in Indonesia. To keep it not to be in haste and made accessories for its own sake that make turtles every time experiencing a decline in populations to endangered. Creator as producer choose the investigation of hunting of sea turtle eggs at Ujung Genteng because there are still many hunts conducted by residents around the edge of tile and also social media, e-commerce that sell accessories from turtle. Then turtle breeding at Ujung Genteng because there is turtle breeding to reduce turtle extinction. With the statement from resource persons who will build our sense of care for the turtle should be cultivated.
