Abstract
HGU (Hak Guna Usaha), indeed often leads to conflicts/problems if not properly managed and accounted for, which ultimately harms the life and economic of the people around the HGU land, it can also cause the land to become abandoned. But often, in spite of this happening, HGU owners still maintain their land in the name of HGU ownership. As here PT Tratak as the owner of HGU land, although it is not productive but still controlling the land. So farmers who need income inevitably have to keep farming the land even though it must be for the results, until finally one of the farmers there who can not meet the kidnap abduction, locked up and beaten overnight. Eventually the residents staged a demonstration and destroyed the foreman's house and then agreed to unite to make a movement to fight the injustice they had suffered and to fight for their land right from the street (held a demonstration) to the legal sphere (trial process) for the welfare of their lives for the future . With the documentary film "Tanah Tani" is expected to provide an understanding for the audience to be more open about the land issues. The author as producer resembles this documentary by using narrative approach, through portrait container movement of Omah Tani in solving the problem. By using the narrative approach, then the narrator in this documentary is a statement from the source. The purpose of this documentary work is expected to be able to inform the public to be more sensitive to the problems of the land, especially those that have similar problems in other areas about the arbitrariness of HGU and the neglect of land, more importantly is the meaning of the spirit of the struggle that never subsided.
