STRATEGI PRODUSER DALAM MENINGKATKAN RATING DAN SHARE PROGRAM TALKSHOW RUMPI NO SECRET DI TRANS TV

Indonesia’s television industry, can not be separted from the rating and share, it is the reference of a program who manage to attract the audience. Producer become key to the success of a program through the performance and creativity. Rumpi No Secret is one of the mainstay talkshow programs of TRANS TV and become a program that has a lot of kontrversial and still last 3 years. Therefore, the researcher aims to describe the strategy used by the Producer in maintaining the Rumpi No Secret so that the program can survive to this day. The research was conducted by qualitative approach with descriptive method. Researchers use SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat) to determine producer strategy at the stage of the production process. The result of this research is Rumpi No Secret Producer Program using strategy by adding item or event content to eliminate boredom in studio by taping ‘rumpi vacation’, ‘Rumpi blusukan’, and also doorstop or ‘outdoor rumpi’. Producers will emphasize on the latest news and guest stars being discussed. The producer also performs a time duration strategy during the production process, and evaluates the rating share in the post process to see the shortcomings of each segment.
