Abstract

Competition in the world the book is more strict in every year, then any publisher had to be able to find the new reader and writer every day. Publisher Gagasmedia is one of publisher who innovates by making the program Gagasmedia Goes To Campus to get the new reader and writer. One of function Public Relations used is publish the program in Twitter @GagasMedia. The purpose of this research is to find function Twitter @GagasMedia in publish Gagasmedia Goes to Campus program in Gagasmedia publisher. The theory was used in the study Computer-Mediated-Communication (C-M-C) from Marc Smith (1995). Research methods that were used descriptive is qualitative. This research result indicates that a function Electronic PR @Gagasmedia to build reading movement for young generation with Twitter @GagasMedia in doing publication Gagasmedia Goes to Campus program is good and in accordance with that theory, because use hastag #GGTC and publication routinely of tweets promotion and E-Poster of the Gagasmedia Goes to Campus. But function Twitter @GagasMedia also have good relations with followers through interactions on hastag #GGTC to avenge tweets, do re-tweet, and give a like (love) with all followers on twitter @GagasMedia.
