Abstract

This thesis background is a discussion how implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility activity in Partnership Program and Community Development to improve a reputation of the PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. This research aims to knowing about the process implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility activity in Partnership Program and Community Development to improve a reputation conducted by PT. Krakatau steel (Persero) Tbk. this research approach uses qualitative. Paradigm that will be use is a post-positivisme. This research to use descriptive. The research subjects is division community development of PT. Krakatau steel (Persero) Tbk and communities as program beneficiaries. This research object is division community development of PT. Krakatau steel (Persero) Tbk. A theory that used in this research is a theory of legitimacy by Pattric Medley, legitimacy public is significant factor in raising company reputation. All the data will be collected through library research, internet, observation, and in depth interviews of parties involved in CSR PKBL activity. The result showed implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility activity in Partnership Program and Community Development has been implemented in accordance with the steps, so Corporate Social Responsibility activity in Partnership Program and Community Development get a positive feedback from communities who influence in increasing the reputation of PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. The conclusion of this research is implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility activity in Partnership Program and Community Development PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Has reached the purpose to improve the quality of life the community, that can build a positive response the community of the legitimacy (support) the influential increase PT.
