Abstract

Patriarch ideolgy is a social and cultural construction that embrace men superiority above women. Patriarchy is one of culture that caused inequality or even oppression between gender especially toward women. Where this is a fundamental problem that sometimes can cause sexual violence. Even years by years the data from National Commission of Women didn't show any significant reduction about sexual violence. Considering this problem, writer decide to choose the theme Domestical Violence among lovers that made in form of an illustration book that sistematically arranged ,not only about domestical violence itself but also about society seen men and women , history of patriarchy, to Sexual Violence in Indonesia which is already become an iceberg phenomena. This Illustration book expected to be able to give a new thing to the youth either the elder so they can understand and educated their circle so they can comprehend about patriarchial culture, also can respect each other without considering sex or gender.
