Abstract

History is a part of human life, there are many sources that have elements of history, one of
them through the cultural heritage. However the community especially the teens much less know and
less interested in learning about the cultural heritage that exists in each area, one of them in the city of
South Tangerang. Need for the media to communicate the cultural heritage to society. one of his fairly
popular media is an educational animation. The current animation is one of the effective information
media to deliver the message. Especially for teens. Nowadays, so by using media shaped educational
animation then it can be very helpful in conveying an information about the heritage and history of the
struggles the heroes contained therein.The purpose of design is to provide an educational animated
series that is educational-based entertainment that can help give education about cultural heritage
animated has shaped the history of the struggle of the heroes who are particularly in the city of South
Tangerang. Through the medium of animation educational which has simple movements accompanied
by music and narratives that can bring the teens to the situation of the struggle of the hero and the
expected communities and the youth to study the history of the struggle of the interested Heroes in the
city of South Tangerang.
