PERANCANGAN BUKU ILUSTRASI “CERITA RAKYAT SUNGAI CISADANE”

Abstract

Indonesia divided in many provinces and every provinces had their own folklore. Folklore has become one of many culture in those provinces. Therefore, its important to know and conserve folklore, especially to children in early age. Many lesson that can be obtained from folklore, one of them is moral lesson and character from the story and every character inside. This thesis title is THE MAKING OF ILLUSTRATION BOOK OF “CISADANE RIVER FOLKLORE”. The designing of the book is to introduce folklore to children age 4 until 6 years old using illustrations that easy to understood by them. Many children who lived in cisadane don’t know yet about the folklore of cisadane river, its unfortunate. The expectation of the making of this illustration book is to help giving information to the readers by reading this illustration book. The aim of this illustration book is especially for children age 4 until 6 years old and generally for wider reach, either its parents or teachers as a lesson giver. The making of this illustration book involve picture, layout, and font.
