PERANCANGAN ANIMASI 2D “MARI BELAJAR ANGKA BERSAMA BUDI DAN LULU” UNTUK PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract
This paper describe how animation can be used as a supporting media in learning activities, especially in number at Patra V Kindergarten, Pondok Ranji. From observation and interview with Patra V Kindergarten’s students and teachers, creator knows that reading, writing, and counting have higher difficulty than other subject. Therefore, creator thought a solution that can help learning process, especially about number which can be used in Patra V Kindergarten as supporting media. The teacher still be able to interacts and guides children while providing learning material such as object, color, and sound from the animation. This animation guides children to learn while play counting objects with school environment background. This animation was based from communication theory, visual communication theory and refers to animation theory. Creator was inspired by several animation references, they were “Bermain dan Belajar Angka 1-10” animation made by Anak-Anak Indonesia Balita, former work from MMTC student “Senja si Ipul” by Melisa Rosalina, video explainer “Menghafal Angka 1234 Bersama Diva” by Kastari Animation, an animation film “Baa Baa Black Sheep” from ChuChu TV and former work from STMIK STIKOM student “Bawang dan Kesuna” by I GedeAdi Sudi Anggara. It can be concluded that this animation was created with the aim of helping the learning activities to teach in Patra V kindergarten, Pondok Ranji, in learning numbers.
