PENERAPAN KEGIATAN EMPLOYEE RELATIONS DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA KARYAWAN PT MERCINDO AUTORAMA

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Employee Relations Activities at PT Mercindo Autorama in increasing employee productivity. The formulation of problem is “How is the implementation of Employee Relations Activities at PT Mercindo Autorama in increasing employee productivity? ” Author used qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this study is PT Mercindo Autorama’s employees, with the object of the study is the implementation of Employee Relations Activities in increasing employee productivity. Author collected the primary data by doing interview and observation, whereas the secondary data was collected by literature study and documentation. Author also used Herzberg’s two factor theory to analyze the problem. The results of the study reveals that PT Mercindo Autorama has done some regular Employee Relations activities, such as training program, sports activities, gift and reward, incentive program, gathering or corporate outing, and face-to-face meeting. In conclusion, employee relation activities conducted by PT Mercindo Autorama gave a positive impact on employee's motivation and productivity. These can be seen from the yearly increase of vehicles, spare parts, and repair service sales, and awards obtained.
