Abstract

This study aims to determine Public Relations Activities in Promoting the South Tangerang
Barcelonistas Community. The research problem formulation proposed is how Public Relations Activities
Promote the South Tangerang Barcelonistas Community. The theory of researchers used Community
Based Theory according to Dean Kruckeberg and Kenneth Stark. The researcher used the positivity
paradigm in knowing Public Relations Activities in Promoting the South Tangerang Barcelonitas
Community. The approach taken in this study by using Qualitative. The research method used is
Qualitative Descriptive. The research subject was the Public Relations Office of South Tangerang and
the object of this research was the South Tangerang Barcelonistas Community. Testing the validity in
this study is used qualitative research called Triangulation. Data collection was obtained through
interviews and observations made on the Public Relations Division as Key Informants and Members of
the South Tangerang Barcelonistas Community Division who became informants. The results of the
study to focus on promotional activities in the community and build community in the practice of Public
Relations as an active effort to improve and maintain ownership in the community and then invite new
members to join the Barcelonistas community in South Tangerang.
