Abstract

Widyaloka Pool's company established since February 1993, located at H. Mursid Street No. 33W RT 04 RW 03 Jagakarsa, 12620, South Jakarta. As the name this company is engaged in contractor manufacture of swimming pool, waterboom, spa, sauna, futsal field and tennis court. The problem is the company does not have an official identity that can be used as a sign of the company, product or service. With the growing number of similar businesses to day, making the competition of swimming pool contractor. The purpose of designing a visual identity (logo) of Widyaloka Pool's company is to develop its own image as a patent for the products or services offered by the company and to increase the brand value of the company. The design of visual identity (logo) is through a process in accordance with the theory of communication, especially visual communication design. By way of direct observation on the Widyaloka Pool's company, interviews to the owners of the company, literature review of relevant work references based on the creator's title and theory used, as well as the internet for reference of additional data. Followed by creative concepts and technical concepts, rough and digital sketching, and logo selection which will then be applied to several company supporting media such as business cards, mail envelopes, stamps, employee clothing and x-banners.
