Abstract

Documentary Portrait is a visual work that provides the knowledge to recognize more clearly about an information about a cultivator Kulon progo which in the value of having an attraction because it has a lot of tourism potential and culture and folklore in it, a thick culture and friendly community. In this work the creator tries to convey information about a tourist attraction that has a link between one element with other elements so that the surrounding community is still preserving the culture they have. in this work the creator picks up a place in the province of Yogyakarta's special region of Kulon Progo district where the local people continue to preserve the culture that descends from their ancestors. In this tourist attraction store elements that are interconnected so that the existing culture in Kulon progo until now still running. The Creator makes this Documentary concept with the development of the story obtained through the information provided by the resource person, so that the information is developed into a visual storyline and this storyline will be packed into a light information means so that the information provided is easy to be understood by the audience.
