Abstract

This research aim to know and explain framing of Detik.com that is The News about an Action of Ruler Kalijodo Issue February 26 – 29 th 2016. The question posed is how online media Detik.com making the news about the end an action of ruler Kalijodo? This research using a qualitative approach, while the method is framing analysis Robert N. Entman. The results showed that the framing conducted by Detik.com through the news about an action of ruler Kalijodo highlighted in terms of law that positioning Daeng Aziz as the cause of the problem. Detik.com provides the moral judgment that is the punishment for Daeng Aziz. Any person who used unlawful power shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 7 years and a fine of not more than Rp 2.5 M. The problem solving provided that the police must remain consistent in the stipulation of Article 51 Paragraph (3) No 30 Year 2009 on Electricity. The news framing Detik.com about an action of ruler Kalijodo is more prominent in the theft of electricity than the case of prostitution / pimps in Kalijodo and the mystery of arrows in Daeng Aziz's cafe.
