Abstract

Media relations became very important as a form of corporate communications with the public internal. Establish good relationship with the media is important in order to support a company in actives of publicity. Public relations in order a bridge of communications. Media relations strategy becomes important existence in media relations activities. This research is intended to find out the media relations strategi RIS Hospital. Media relations is an attempt to communicate a message or information to create knowledge and understanding for the audienes that are done by the company. Media relations duty to nurture and develop good relationships with the mass media as a means of communication between companies with the public to achieve company goals. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the RIS media strategy of the hospital. This thesis research researchers using qualitative research methods. The results of this study stated that media relations strategy run by RIS Hospital operates to more publicity activities so as to help RIS Hospital in terms of the promotion. Researchers menggunakan two way symmetric theory of James Gruning. In this study the auther tried to describe how relationships and communications are built and what kind of approach run by RIS Hospital in good relationship with the media.
