KECAKAPAN PENYIAR RADIO BHERY HAMZAH DALAM PROGRAM ELSHINTA NEWS AND TALK DI ELHSINTA RADIO

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating proficiency of radio broadcaster, Bhery Hamzah, on Elshinta News and Talk Program in the Elshinta Radio. This study focused on how the proficiency of radio broadcaster, Bhery Hamzah, on Elshinta News and Talk Program in the Elshinta radio was. This study employed a qualitative research with descriptive study as a method. The subject of this study was proficiency of radio broadcaster, Bhery Hamzah, on Elshinta News and Talk Program. Concept used was the concept of communication proficiency consisting of speaking, writing, and reading proficiency proposed by Asep Syamsul M.Romli The study found that the broadcaster used speaking proficiency, which is part of breathing, intonation, accentuation, speed, and articulation practice, and reading proficiency. In spite of the use of speaking and reading proficiency, an Elshinta Radio broadcaster was also required to have writing skill. The broadcaster’s writing skill was shown when the broadcaster revised the script and wrote the news.
